Heading Back to University

Well folks, this will be my last blog as a Green Dream Intern. My co-op term is finished, and I am returning to university for my final year of Chemical Engineering. It will be bitter sweet leaving LP. I made so many great memories and have learned so many valuable things that will benefit me in my future career, but am I looking forward to returning to school and finishing up my degree. One of the many reasons I enjoyed my job at LP is because of all the individuals I worked with. Each and everyday I looked forward to going to work, which for some people is not the case. Throughout my co-op term, I have been able to become good friends with many people at LP and I hope that our paths cross again.

Being a Green Dream Intern and working in the forestry industry has been such a great experience for me. I have learned to be more aware of my surroundings and appreciate the experiences that would not be the same without a healthy environment. I was also able to do so many fun things this summer that I of course was able to blog about. I am looking forward to what the future holds in terms of graduating this spring and looking for a career in engineering. Who knows, maybe someday I will be able to return to the forestry industry.

For my final sign off, I would like to thank the FPAC again for giving me the opportunity to be a Green Dream Intern this summer. I would also like to thank you readers for tagging along on my adventures and experiences in the forestry industry this summer.
