Hey everyone,
For this post I’ll be sharing what I’ve been up to since the tree planters arrived on July 14th, 2019. Our last day of planting was August 7th, 2019.
I am a summer student for Sundre Forest Products, but my position is specific to silviculture (the growing and cultivation of trees).

I woke up to the morning sunlight showering into my home, warming my chilled face. I yawned slowly and stretched hard, shaking my body. I didn’t want to be up this early. I could hear my children beginning to stir from their slumbers and I knew that sleeping in is not an option with 2 under 2. I wandered over to my babies to be surprised with kisses and cuddles.

Hey gang!
I hope everyone had a super fun and safe Canada day long weekend! My boyfriend and I went camping near the river that runs through Sundre. We did some fly fishing and played a few games like frisbee and ring toss, it was perfect! The weather was warm and sunny, and it felt so nice to be in a tent again.
