Weyerhaeuser Edson OSB is currently looking for 4th class
Power Engineer for our facility. You will report to Chief Power
Engineer and will be responsible for the safe operations and
troubleshooting of the Thermal Energy Systems and related
Complete area walkthroughs and equipment checks, maintain book
and Proficy Logs
Responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of the EFB?s
and related equipment
Use mobile equipment as needed for moving and refeeding hogg,
fire bunker material, waste materials, snow removal and laying
Assist operations in the operation and troubleshooting of the
drying systems and related equipment
Assist operations with troubleshooting and clean up, unplugging
strand, wet and dry waste equipment as needed
Complete WO?s as assigned
Other duties as assigned by hourly staff
The successful candidate must:
Hold a valid 4th Class Power Engineer Ticket
Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is
Safety conscious and positive attitude
Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building
successful candidate must have a grade 12 diploma and be able to
work in Canada without need for sponsorship.
