Description des fonctions
The forklift operator will be responsible for the safe operation of a 45,000 lb. capacity forklift while performing the duties of unloading the mill, loading and unloading trucks and rail cars as well as moving lumber in the yard.
Experience with forklift operation in an industrial environment;
Must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift ticket;
Able to work both independently and in a team environment;
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others;
Strong problem solving skills;
Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
Alignment with Tolko’s values of safety, respect, progressiveness, integrity, open communication and profit;
Ability to work mornings, afternoon and graveyards and weekends.
