 Reporting to the Operations
Superintendent, the Operations Coordinator will work individually
and with a team of professionals responsible for all aspects of
forest operations.  As an Operations Coordinator you will be
responsible to coordinate contractor logging, hauling, road
construction and other related operations to ensure that
production, quality, environmental and legal requirements are met
in a safe and cost effective manner.  The work will involve
contract management, liaison with government officials,
negotiations and the coordination of operations with other

Desired Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Operational background in logging and hauling
  • Self-motivated and team oriented
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in a group setting
  • Commitment to safety and responsible forest stewardship
  • Preference will be given to those registered as an RPF or RFT
    with the ABCFP or be eligible for registration
