Job Description
Reporting to the Log Yard Supervisor, the Heavy Duty Mechanic works as part of a team to provide quality repairs and preventative maintenance services on industrial mobile equipment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic with a valid Interprovincial ticket;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with little supervision;
- Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook considered an asset;
- Experience with CMMS systems and JD Edwards;
- Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.
Job Conditions
- Minimum experience: 0 to 1 year
- Minimum educational level: Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Language: English
