This position located in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.
The Hudson Bay OSB Mill is a market-focused quality Oriented
Strand Board (OSB) operation. This mill site includes a Log
Yard, Green End, Drying, Pressing, Finishing and Shipping depts.,
Maintenance/Engineering. Annual production is 540mm3/8.
The workforce of Approximately 160 employees is represented
by the Steelworkers Union.
Key Functions
Reporting
to the Buyer/Materials Manager, the successful candidate
would:
- Demonstrate
strong performance in safety, attendance, involvement, attitude,
productivity, learning/development. - Help
associates in obtaining parts and supplies. - Receive
goods, issue goods, and put away materials. - Assist
Stores backup duties, including inventory management (obsolescence,
walkaround). - Coordinate
incoming and outgoing freight. - Cycle
counting of inventory items. - Work
order kitting. - Housekeeping
- Escalate
orders that are not on site on time. - Other
duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Journeyman
Parts Technician certification - Valid
driver’s license - Strong
written/oral communication skills and attention to
detail - Proficiency
with Microsoft office suite and SAP experience - Forklift
experience - Previous
Stores or business experience preferred. - Strong
interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer
service. - Ability
to perform moderate lifting (<50lbs).
