Weyerhaeuser’s (Engineered Lumber
Products) Timberstrand® manufacturing Plant, located on beautiful
Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario, is currently seeking
permanent full-time Certified Mechanical Technician Our plant
manufactures the high strength engineered wood product
Timberstrand® in a 24/7 operations, non-union, manufacturing

We offer a competitive total
compensation and flexible benefits package. With a competitive
starting wage at $48.12. For the right candidate we offer a
relocation allowance and a hiring bonus of $3000.00.
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor the
certified Millwright will be responsible for:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis,
and repair of hydraulic system and components. - Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting,
diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues. - Perform routine maintenance work on
machinery. - Use
SAP for Materials and Work Order Management. - Basic welding and fabrication.
- Coordinate contractor activities as
required. - Keep
work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly
condition. - Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe
and satisfactory manner. - Complete all jobs in a timely
manner.
Requirements
- Journeyman Millwright Certification –
Preferred. - 3 –
5 Years in an industrial environment would be an asset. - Proven analytical troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills. - Solid computer skills in Microsoft
Office. - Must
be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule that includes both
days and nights, 12 hour continuous shifts.
Training Requirements:
Successful applicants will be
provided with training and support.
