Hello Good People,
I have some terrible news. It’s my last week here at Weyerhaeuser Vancouver Parallam. I have become so familiar with the plant, the people and even its distinct smell; it will take some time to adjust back to a quiet student life.
Over the past few months, it has been quite a ride as an intern here.

6:00 – Leave Home, get a coffee, and enjoy a quiet Vancouver.
6:25 – Get to work in one piece without being hit by bad drivers and change into work gear.

Hello loyal followers of the blog,
This week was a quiet one. I’ve been out of commission since last week recovering from surgery. With new work restrictions limiting my lifting and movement, I’ve been supporting my department from the safety of the lab. So no, you won’t see pictures of me putting out forest fires or saving endangered squirrels.
