Before moving to Princeton one of things that I was most nervous about spending my summer here was the possibility of having nothing to do on weekends or in my spare time. I was moving to a small town in British Columbia from which I had no contacts other than my future coworkers that I had been communicating with leading up to the internship.

Since starting my Internship with Weyerhaeuser the main question that friends and family have been asking me is what kind of jobs I am doing here. So I thought throughout the week I would take pictures and write a blog about some of the jobs that are keeping me busy!

Initially I would like to thank Weyerhaeuser and The GreenestWorkforce for this delightful opportunity. Everyone at Weyerhaeuser was very welcoming and aided my transition from being a student in Vancouver to worker in Princeton.

My name is Riley Finn, I am from Kitchener Ontario and I am studying natural resource conservation at the University of British Columbia. In October of 2013 I received an email from the faculty of forestry’s student services,
