opportunity for a:
PRODUCTION OPERATOR
We are looking for a motivated 4th Class Power Engineer to join
our Production department on shift basis. Candidates who have
partially completed the 4th class requirements will also be taken
into consideration.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 4th class power engineering certificate
- Safety first attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivated personality
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work under
pressure - Desire to problem solve, learn, grow, and excel
The following will be considered strong assets:
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate
- Mobile equipment experience
- Previous experience in an industrial environment
Slave Lake Pulp is a BCTMP (bleached chemical
thermo-mechanical pulp) world leading producer and has a
bioenergy plant that generates green power from
