We
are currently taking applications for Journeyman Heavy Duty
Mechanic, reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance
Manager. The Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic is
responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mobile equipment
at the mill. This position is located in Hudson
Bay, Saskatchewan. The Hudson Bay OSB
Mill is a market-focused quality Oriented Strand Board (OSB)
operation. This mill site includes a Log Yard, Green End, Drying,
Pressing, Finishing and Shipping depts., Maintenance/Engineering.
Annual production is 540mm3/8. The workforce of approximately 165
employees is represented by the United Steelworkers
Union.
Responsibilities include, but not
limited to:
-Repair and troubleshoot industrial
mobile equipment.
-Complete preventative maintenance
responsibilities.
-Support the goals and objectives of
the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red
Seal). - A
passion for safety. - Industrial experience
preferred. - Collaborates with the maintenance team to
deliver preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
