Weyerhaeuser Princeton Timberlands is accepting applications for
the position of Forestry Supervisor based out of our Timberlands
office in Princeton, British Columbia.
As the successful candidate you will be part of an empowered and
professional team that manages forestry operations in the Nicola,
Similkameen and Okanagan Regions of Southern British Columbia. The
team is responsible for providing the Weyerhaeuser sawmill in
Princeton and other wood using facilities in the region with 1.0
million m3/year of wood from TFL 59, forest licenses, management
agreements and wood purchases.
In collaboration with indigenous
communities, our operation is quite broad in scope managing all
aspects of forest management. Our staff of professionals is engaged
in safety, forest stewardship plans, cutting permit and road
development, site plan and silviculture prescription development,
logging and road construction supervision, contract rate
negotiation, financial analysis, forest certification, GIS,
wildfire preparedness and response, log purchase and sales.

Compensation:
This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we
are targeting a salary range of $83,400 – $120,100 based on your
level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be
eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash
bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range
from zero to two times that target.
