We are seeking an energetic, proactive individual to fill the full time, temporary position of Administrative Assistant within our Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to HR Leaders in the areas of pension/benefits, training/development, and documentation. The term of this position will be from July 2019 to August 2020.

Role and Responsibilities
-Provide administrative support to MPR’s group retirement program, benefit plans, policy administrative, documentation, training and communications.
-Support mill-wide documentation with the revision, formatting, filing and distribution of all documents.
-Maintenance of MPR’s documentation templates and ensure tracking of document moving is up to date.
-Respond to inquiries, concerns and questions from team members and assist in referring to the appropriate -Superintendents, department or outside organization.
-Maintain personnel files and applicable auditing/tracking systems.
-Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all guests, team members, and contracting personnel.
-Daily management of MPR's internal intranet system.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-Additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience
-Completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Post-secondary education, certificate or diploma, in a relevant field (Social Science, Office Administration, Business or HR Management) with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in an Administrative support position.
-Ability to maintain confidential information.
-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team and independently.
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
-Strong attention to detail, with ability to complete repetitive tasks with accuracy.
-Time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
-Experience working with an integrated HR Information system would be considered an asset.
