Process & Technical Coordinator

Slave Lake, Alberta

The Process & Technical Coordinator is responsible for establishing and monitoring a program of quality checks, testing and data collection to ensure compliance with standards for all products produced in the plant and conformity of all incoming raw materials. The incumbent will lead and participate in all process and product improvement initiatives and new product development.

The Process & Technical Coordinator will work with other team members to solve quality and/or process problems, and also work with other leaders to develop new and innovative products and/or procedures.


  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop reports
  • General knowledge of OSB manufacturing process
  • Commitment to safety, quality, process, and continuous improvement
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong people skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Demonstrates safe working habits and a commitment to support Tolko’s safety philosophy
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum BSc in Wood Science, Science, or a related field
