Journeyperson Heavy Duty
Mechanic
This position offers a challenging, diverse and exciting
opportunity to become part of our team and requires an individual
who will perform a variety of tasks related to the safe and
efficient application of the technical skills and knowledge of a
Heavy Duty Mechanic. Duties involve the repair and maintenance of
industrial equipment such as: forklifts, loaders, butt-n-top,
Jenbacher gas engines and other mobile equipment. Continually
ensuring the quality and standards of service to safety and
production must be maintained.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson heavy duty
mechanic certification - Ability to read manuals and schematics
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Industrial engine experience
- Innovative and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work
place - Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Organizational and planning skills
Considered a strong asset:
- Millwright Experience
