This past week, my roommate and fellow Green Dream Intern, Emma, and I were featured in the Whitecourt Star in an interview regarding our internships at Millar Western and how we’ve enjoyed living in Whitecourt. This opportunity was a lot of fun. It’s great to feel so included and welcomed in this town’s inviting community.
Funny story- As it turns out, the writer who interviewed me from the newspaper is from my hometown of Markham, all the way back in Ontario, also working here on his own internship. It’s a small world!
In other news, my brand new enzyme trial is up and running this week and I’m beginning the second phase of my kiln optimization study.
