You spend the summer in Vancouver for the first time ever and not cram your weekends with tourist-like activities. A few weeks ago my friend and I decided it would be fun to explore some of Vancouver’s favorite attractions. The Capilano Suspension Bridge was our first stop and what a cool experience that was.

During my second week at Canfor I got a chance to sit with our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. At first I was a little upset that I had to leave my desk in Learning & Leadership because I had my own phone with my name on it, which I thought was really cool (it’s the little things in life right?).

After four years of writing essays during my time in university, I never would have believed I would be a summer blogger. What an exciting opportunity it is to share my summer experience of living in Vancouver and working as a Human Resource intern at Canfor with all of you readers.
My first week in Vancouver proved to be a bit stressful.
