Division
has an opportunity for an:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
CLERK

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role’s
responsibilities include:

  • Enter accounts payable into Oracle Financials
  • Ensure invoices and cheque requests are properly supported and
    approved
  • Review account coding and correct any miscoding
  • Ensure the accuracy of sales tax (GST and PST) and identify and
    calculate self-assessments where required
  • Match invoices to approval batches
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Provide month end accounting support
  • General office Administration duties
  • Act as back up for Payroll Analyst

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • Post-secondary training in administration or accounting or 1 to
    2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Oracle accounts payable is an asset
  • High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to
    detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be flexible and be able to adjust to changing workloads
    and tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel skills
  • A self-starter with the initiative to learn and grow
