Woodroom Operations Team
Member

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced industrial environment with
    preference to individuals having experience within forestry or
    manufacturing
  • Ability to work rotating shifts that include days, nights,
    weekends & holidays
  • Eagerness and ability to cross train and further develop skills
    to add value to the team
  • Ability to work in changing environment which may include
    temperature extremes, heights, odors, dust, confined spaces,
    indoors and outdoors.
  • Demonstrated team skills & basic computer knowledge
  • A strong commitment to Health and Safety
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Mechanical aptitude & initiative for problem solving
  • Experience as a crane operator or chip preparation plant
    operator will be an asset

Slave Lake Pulp is a Bleached Chemical Thermo-Mechanical Pulp
(BCTMP) mill located approximately 2.5 hours north of Edmonton,
Alberta.  Slave Lake Pulp is committed to continuous
