Our teams have an opportunity for the role described below:
IT Application Analyst –
Enterprise Resource Planning Solutions
As part of the IT group, this role will provide support,
analysis, and development assistance for all technology supporting
the business’s inventory and supply chain areas for forestry
processes and procurement. This person will work closely with
operations staff, corporate leadership, and the IT department to
define and implement effective business process enhancements and
technology solutions.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Providing technical support to users across a financial
interface with reporting, system uptime, and integration - Defining technical solutions to business challenges with our
inventory management technologies and implementing them - Being a lead resource in projects implementing new technologies
and integration projects to support strategic initiatives - Cooperating with a team to keep systems operating and further
our organization’s competitive advantage
The ideal candidate will possess the
following:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology,
Engineering, or MIS from a recognized public or private program
and/or 3+ years of relevant experience - Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A detailed and proactive approach to duties
- Self-starter and inquisitive attitude to troubleshooting
- Experience with the following will be considered an asset:
- Past roles supporting and implementing enterprise inventory
management technology - Forestry software such as Trimble/3LOG’s Log Inventory &
Management System (LIMS) - Relational databases and corresponding tools such as Oracle SQL
Developer, SS, Transact, PLSQL - Programming languages such as Pascal, C# .NET, Microsoft Visual
Studio - Systems integration, data conversion, and solution
architecture

Travel
10% expected – must be able to travel via car and air when
