Job Description
Millar Western’s Whitecourt Pulp Mill is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright with 5 years’ industrial experience working with rotating machinery. This individual will play a critical role in minimizing plant downtime by managing the predictive maintenance program for their section of the plant. Duties include rebuilding rotating equipment, oil-and-vibration routes and root-cause failure analysis.
The ideal candidate
Preference will be given to a red-seal certified Millwright with experience in an industrial maintenance setting. Heavy-duty Mechanic experience would be considered an asset. This is currently a day-shift position but will involve shift work in the future.

Job Conditions
