The Princeton Lumber Division is
seeking entry-level Production Laborers. We want individuals who
are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a
manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and
good work ethic.
The starting pay for this position
is $34.025 per hour.
Position Duties:
- Must bring a commitment to safety,
a positive attitude, and a desire to perform physical work - Entry-level labor duties may vary
to include (but not limited to) shoveling, sweeping, spark watch,
equipment operation, manual handling of lumber and debris,
etc. - Assist the supervisor in
maintaining records, report safety issues, concerns or hazard - Provide occasional relief coverage
for regular operators - May be on call.
- Perform other duties as
assigned
Requirements
- All
applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or
equivalent - Uncompromising ability and willingness to follow
all safe work practices and procedure - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and
communication skills - Well-developed planning and organization
abilities - A
willingness to work alternate shift schedules and varying
hours - Ability to work in extreme heat and
cold. - Ability to perform the essential job functions
of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating
catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and
bending. - Must
be team oriented, and able to work independently as
required - Ability to effectively team with others in a
rapid pace work environment - Strong analytical, communication, and
problem-solving skills
Offers of employment will be conditional upon
satisfactory completion of substance testing, background check,
fitness for work testing, and agreement with general terms of
employment.
