Weyerhaeuser’s
(Engineered Lumber Products) Timberstrand® manufacturing Plant,
located on beautiful Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario, is
currently seeking permanent full-time Heavy-Duty Mechanic. Our
plant manufactures the high strength engineered wood product
Timberstrand® in a 24/7 operations, non-union, manufacturing

We
offer a competitive total compensation and flexible benefits

For
the right candidate we offer a relocation allowance.
As
part of the team at our Timber Strand mill you will undertake work
that ranges from trouble shooting to general preventative
maintenance, including general equipment repairs as well as project
related work.
General
duties including but not limited to:
- Perform
preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of
mechanical equipment issues - Perform
routine maintenance work on machinery - Use
SAP for Materials and Work Order Management - Keep
work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly
condition - Perform
duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory
manner - Complete
all jobs in a timely manner
Requirements
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification –
Preferred. - 3 –
5 Years in an industrial environment would be an asset. - Basic Welding
- Proven analytical troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills - Solid computer skills in Microsoft
Office - Must
be willing to work at heights - Must
be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, eg 4 10-hour days,
2-2-3-day shift
