The Final Stretch

It feels like yesterday that I entered my first blog post, but it has been a month since then! So much has happened, and I can finally feel the summer winding down and my brain getting into school mode as that time approaches. The past week, I have been checking the pine beetle traps and working on culvert inspections – so not much has changed on a day-to-day level. On Thursday, though, Kyle and I observed as a new culvert was installed (exciting, right?), which gave me some insight into how the process unfolds. However, what I am really excited about is going home before I head back to UBC! I miss my family, and it has been too long since I have seen them. So, on the 16th of August, I will be going back to Ontario for a weekend to spend some time with them. I hope to post another photo soon — all this text is looking a little dry.
