Well. Here it is. My last blog for this summer. What follows is a brief summary of everything I have done during my employment here at Millar Western. I have learned and done so much this summer that it is difficult to recall everything chronologically. But, I’ll try my absolute best to get everything correct, so bear with me.

Well, this summer is almost at its end. A mere three and a half weeks more, and I will be essentially finished my summer internship at Millar Western. I will save a summary of my entire summer and experience for my next and final blog.
These past few weeks have been quite interesting, with the start of a new project on the lumber side,

Hello once again readers. Since my last blog, not much has changed regarding my work, so I chose to write this particular post on something else. I am going to write a brief account of what it has been like working for Millar Western so far this summer.
First off, I would like to say that Millar Western is an amazing company to work for.

Hello once again readers. Since I haven’t talked much about what I have been physically doing at work since my first blog, I figured it was time to provide a brief update as well as discuss some of the tasks lined up for me in the remainder of my time here.
So far, I have been continuing to work on finalizing data for the consistency meters I was trialing at the start of the summer.

I have decided to take this particular entry in a separate direction from my previous blog posts, which had mostly been examining characteristics and responsibilities that were both encompassed by and related to the forest industry. In this post, I would like to shed light on what it has been like growing up in a community that is heavily influenced by the forestry sector and what I had and had not realized about this industry.
