“A day in the life” photo essay

To better describe what one of my days generally consists of here is a ‘day in the life’ at Slave Lake Pulp as an Engineering Co-op student.

My daily morning greeting at the mill.

A great start to the day; a cup of coffee with a side of CAD.

Dressed up in all of my safety gear at my vantage point for the Bio-Methanation photos.

Reviewing some Engineering Drawings and compiling an up to date drawing index.

The mill’s quarterly meeting; for business, safety and general happenings around the mill.

Saw a couple of ‘guests’ wandering around the grounds of the mill.

I tagged along for an inspection of the portal crane on site, and even got to hop into the operators cab.

Finished my day off with a bit of fishing, and although the weather was less than cooperative it was a great end to the day.

Not too shabby of a day in my books.
